How the data stays current

The database is refreshed on a rolling schedule, with profiles rebuilt in batches through the year as journalists change roles and outlets.

Journalists move often, so as with any media database it pays to send your first campaign to a slice of the list, check the results, then scale. That is good outreach practice regardless of where the contacts came from, and it protects your sending domain.

Free versus Pro

• Free: search and filter all 799,000+ journalist profiles. You see role, outlet, country and beat tags. Contact details are hidden.
• Pro — $59/month, or $49/month annually: reveal direct email addresses, LinkedIn profiles and phone numbers. Unlimited lists and CSV export.

The interface shows which channels a profile carries before you open it. Pro has no reveal caps — there is no credit system to budget. Full detail on the pricing page.

Getting the data out

Media lists export to CSV at any time on Pro, including on the day you cancel. No export fee, no lock-in clause — your lists are yours.

There is no API today — CSV export is the way to move data into another system.

Where the data comes from

Profiles are compiled from publicly available professional and outlet information. We do not buy scraped mailbox dumps, and we never resell your searches, your lists or your pitch history.

Removal requests

Journalists who want out can email hello@insightfuse.com and we remove the profile on the next database rebuild. More on how we handle data on the security page.
